Thank you, thank you very much
Last week I was having a pretty horrible work week. Things at my current job have nothing at all to do with the design world, but everything to do with winery reports and needy sales reps. The entire time I'm here I'm filling up to-do lists of everything that needs to get done at home to get all my rooms finished. I need my rooms finished so I can have them photographed. I need photographs to put on my website for my new business. It just goes on and on. It's a never ending list of things that need to get done while I'm sitting here doing spreadsheets! Not enjoyable and completely stressful. Top that off with the fact that I've been freaking out with every design decision that I make. It makes for one very cranky and depressed lady.
Lucky for me I made a great new friend due to the blog world and she keeps me grounded and helps me take a deep breathe and reassures me that I'm talented and I'm going to make it, but to just hang in there.
I just wanted to take time today to give Lauren a little shout-out for how fabulous she is. I don't know how I could be doing this without you!
Thank you for all your words of encouragement, your great advice and expertise and most importantly your friendship.
:) Aw thanks so much Camila! I truly feel the same way about you...

ReplyDeleteThat was a sweet post. It is amazing how close you can feel to people in the blog world.
I know you get frustrated but hang in there and you will do great things. There is not a day that goes by where at one point I have to give myself a pep talk in this industry. I know you are going to be very successful!

ReplyDeleteHey Camila, I know how you feel - sometimes there just seems to be so much standing in the way of you and your dream, and it makes you really frustrated!! I was feeling the same way this morning, then popped into the blog world, and already I feel inspired! SGHx
