The last couple of weeks in my life have been filled with paint (not only on the walls, but in on my legs, in my hair, etc), sanding, moving furniture, installing flooring, finalizing fabric, helping my SIL move, etc.
Not exactly relaxing, but it’s been great to finally almost be finished!
I’m already thinking of the finish line and I would love to pat myself on the back and get to treat myself to not only a stay at The Viceroy in Miami, but the amazing spa services available at Icon Brickell, which was designed by none other than Philippe Starck (creator of my beloved Ghost Chairs!)
It’s a bit over the top, but I’m sure I could make myself at home here. The yellow chandilier featured below contains 5,000 pieces and took several weeks to put together. Also take a peek at the furniture in the wading pool!
From this shot of the pool you can get a better view of the immense library and one of the many fireplaces.
A little peek of one of the treatment rooms. I know it’s a small touch, but I love that teal blue ribbon around the towel.
Ah, this is what heaven must look like. I would love to enjoy many, many, many spa treatments here.
I couldn’t find any images of the women’s lounge area, but take a peek at the men’s lounge area complete with steam showers and complimentary Havainas!
Ok who is coming with me and needs a relaxing spa vacation?
This can be us sitting in Ghost chairs in the pool!
I'll go!! I need some r & r!!

ReplyDeleteCamila, you've REALLY got to stop taking pictures of me when I'm trying to relax in the wading pool at the Viceroy ;)
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, who could leave that place? I'm in.
Booking the trip at this moment! Ha. The pool area looks like some sort of wonderful, abstract painting come to life. But it all looks super luxe. If you ever do go, please let us know.

ReplyDeleteI feel your pain! I have been painting for the past two weeks and have about a week to go... so far i painted a table to look like "bendels" I hope! a few chairs, boxes, frames, end tables and oh...my dogs tail and her paws! I will be posting all when done. Great idea about staying at a spa, might have to jet down to miami!

ReplyDeleteIs funny that you mentioned this place since I was at Icon today with clients. Let me tell you, these pictures don't do these places any justice. I plan be at the Viceroy this weekend for my girlfriends b-day. I will try to take some pics and email them to you. By the way the W South Beach just opened, it's spectacular. I love living in Miami and all of the amazing places we have available to us. If you are planning a trip let me know and I will be more than happy to suggest a couple of places. Also, the Delano is another amazing Hotel and the spa is to die for.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that chandelier is stunning. I just wrote a guest post on Awesome Sara about how much I love them, and I totally would've included this one if I'd seen it!
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing - I made my first spa visit in March and I am in love!
ReplyDeleteI'm in, but I fear this is a dangerous proposition as I might never come back and my kids still really need a mama. Holy cow, this place is unbelievable!!! The attention to detail is stunning, blue ribbon and all. I have one of those "sofas" spotted in the pool...now I just need a pool to go with it! ;0)
ReplyDeleteI love this space. I was on a spa project this past winter. It was not this cool...at all {I was not the lead designer:)}
ReplyDeleteCount me in Cam!!! Have missed you while I have been "out of pocket" recently!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I could just get lost there - forever....
