Ok so maybe they are not for pennies, but for around $239-$299 I found a bunch of great rug choice at JC Penney's
I know you are thinking. JC PENNEY’s…she has lost her mind, but I kid you not many gems can be found in this store.
It is no longer just a store where your grandma buys her Moo-moo’s. I’ve been checking them out for the last couple of years and have used many of their products in home projects.
Lately the rug selection has really stepped it up a notch and I was even able to find a little ok a big dose of animal print!
For the more traditional gal there is always my classic choice of stripes.
I loved the big overpowering pattern on this rug.
This rug reminded me of an intricate henna tattoo.
I loved the touch of paisley on this rug. It’s all over and while it could feel overwhelming with the use of neutral shades it looks just about perfect.
Another dose of neutral with a damask like print.
Check out more rugs here.
That first one is just what I need! I would love to have it in light green. Thanks for the share, will check out JC Penney's site now.
ReplyDeleteNo rug snobbery, here. Go JCP!!!

ReplyDeletemoo moo's hahaha, thats funny!
ReplyDeleteI need the 1st one!
I love the first one. Who knew? JC Penneys?
ReplyDeleteThe first one is my favorite! I just love that pattern :)
ReplyDeleteAnd JCPenney is also a great place for drapes on the cheap!
jCP is my place! haha in my first house, everything came from there after I ran up every other credit card besides Penney's...Love going through that big ol catalog of theirs! And they're curtain section is awesome!
ReplyDeleteOMG I was just visualizing the first one today but had no idea where to get one. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI really love that first rug, just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThe first one is fantastic. You're so right about JC Penney becoming more versatile, they also have a great collection of window treatments. Come by and check out the new City Escapes series, it starts today. I can't wait to see what you'll be putting together for us.
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for bringing these to my attention! I will be rug shopping soon and didn't even think to check JC Penny, but certainly will now. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe Henna Tatoo rug is fantastic. Wow. Who would have thought?
ReplyDeleteNext thing you know - Sears will start rolling out great things.
So jealous that you can get such lovely rugs at such amazing prices - everything is so much more expensive in Australia! Great post! Happy weekend. Hayley & Tracey xx
ReplyDeletegreat rug choices. im not big on reds but those got me thinking.
ReplyDeletePretty fabulous finds!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm impressed! Love the first one! :D
ReplyDeleteLove me some JCP! They always have sneaky finds!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the whole treasures to be found at JC Penneys. I like their costume jewelry... fun pieces at great prices so I don't feel married to it. I rediscovered this store a couple of years ago when it seemed a lot of my shopping options were going away. It is kind of fun that most of my friends don't shop there. It is discouraging to buy something fun and then find out that two of your friends bought the same thing... ugh.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, loved the top Carristan rug. Thinking it would be a great replacement for an oriental style I have now. Thanks for sharing
I totally agree on the fact that great finds can sprout up at Penney's. I used to get compliments all the time on my clothes when I was a poor college kid, and I too-frequently found myself chirping "I got it at the JC Penney Two-Day Sale!"
ReplyDeletePretty paisley. It's great to have these so easily available from a store like JCP.
ReplyDeleteomg! great finds! jc penny, who knew??? I am going to have to check them out!
ReplyDeleteI agree, they have some hidden gems!
ReplyDeletegreat finds, i never thought of to look there!
