I spied her across the room the second I stepped into my favorite thrift store.
Her petite frame was perfect just the right the size. The tufting added that element of glam that I adore. The fabric felt amazing and had a great you must cuddle with me vibe. Ah her feet sealed the deal.
I don’t need her in my home or for a client. I went to check out her price and fell over in excitement! She is a Martha Stewart for Bernhardt piece and only $198.
I know I don’t need her, but she is hopefully coming home with me tomorrow. It took me about 2 seconds to convince my mom she had to have her so that I can visit with my new friend.
We are going first thing tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed she didn’t go home with someone else.
Hilarious! I love it
ReplyDeleteLove your new ... sister?
ReplyDeleteI really love a sofa or loveseat with one cushion - did not even realize it until recently. This one is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment on my 'Glee' post. I smiled when I read it - I am a Gossip Girl, Glee, and Twilight addicted woman in my late 30s, and not sorry for it! I am thrilled to know I am not alone in my generational confusion. Then again, I loved the show 'thirty-something' when I was in my late teens/early 20s.
Love it! Thrift stores are my favorite not-so-guilty pleasure. Hopefully it's still there for you tomorrow! If I were you I'd probably be thinking about while I tried to fall asleep tonight; I hate to let things get away!
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!! What a great find. I really hope it's still there tomorrow! My fingers will be crossed!
