This year me and Jon decided to forgo gifts. I of course had to buy him a thing or two even though we said we wouldn’t and simply attached Moo and Bear’s name to the card. Total loophole!
Moo and Bear must have been very busy this holiday season, because this little lady was gifted with an iphone!
I’m super excited about it and can’t wait to start using it to it’s potential. Only problem? Me and technology just don’t mix. So, help me out what fabulous AP’s are must haves? Any pointers, tips, etc for my new phone?
I have already purchased one new accessory for my new phone. The otterbox, because I tend to be a bit clumsy with my phones. Fingers crossed nothing happens to my iphone.
One of the selling points of the otterbox was that you can drop your phone off a second story window and all should be fine. We shall see….
What did you get under your Christmas tree?
You are going to love this phone, seriously, just wait. I'm so technologically inept and I can honestly tell you this thing is amazing. Totally intuitive and so easy to use. I never even opened the manual.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember and can't imagine a life without my iPhone. Pathetic but true. You're gonna love it!
Happy Holidays Camila!

You are going to love love LOVE your new phone. I found a "converter" app for me. Since I deal with fabric so much, I needed something that would convert inches to yards for me.
ReplyDeleteI use the maps ALL THE TIME!!!! I get lost a lot.. or used to!
Under my tree was a new drill! It is awesome!!!!
I got money to buy an Iphone with and will be getting it within a week. I also need to get the otterbox because I drop my phone all the time. If you like music, the Pandora app is nice as well as the kazaam one (which lets you find out what song is playing anywhere if you don't know it).
ReplyDeleteYay!!! I got an iPhone to and I just love it! I can't stop playing with it. Not too mention I feel so "IN" now! LOL

Yay! I got an iPhone, too! So much fun! I really like the Voice Control feature (hold down the hold button and tell it to call someone, play a song, etc). Apps that I like are Evernote, Dragon Dictation (great for taking notes or speaking a text when you're on the go), BlogPress Lite, Gap StyleMixer, Shazam, UrbanSpoon, EtsyAddict, ShopSavvy, and WineSnob.
ReplyDeleteHave fun playing!!!
I am going to have to download some of these suggestions for myself. Here are my fave apps:
ReplyDeleteEvernote
PopSugar
ShopStyle
Slacker Radio - I prefer this to Pandora
CraigsPro - I think I prefer this to Craigshone
Zillow - I love real estalking on the go
CardStar - input all of your loyalty rewards numbers that you can scan in store and ditch the cards from your wallet
Feather - fashion pics based on the weather
iWore - just downloaded this and am going to give it a spin. Perfect because I never remember if I wore something last month or last week and am worried about repeating outfits
Flood-it - A game so addicting I deleted it off my phone. Twice.
myWireless - so I can check my text and minutes usage
Santa brought me a new camera for blogging, and the Twilight boxed set.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had happy holidays.
Kate Spade has a beautiful calendar app. Check it out when I featured it on my blog.

that's so funny. I'm the same way. Sometimes I think I need one and my husband is like "why, you barely know how to text:)"
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the iPhone club! I have to say, I prefer hard cases over soft ones since I find that the soft ones tend to lose their shape after a while. And get a car charger!
ReplyDeleteMy newest acquisition is a mirrored screen protector, so I don't have to dig for a mirror just to do a quick check.
As far as apps go, I love Tweetie for Twitter, Yelp and UrbanSpoon for restaurants, Shopstyle and Tote for fashion, eBay and CraigsPhone, CheckPlease for tipping. There are also several color matching apps that you may find handy. Hope this helps. Enjoy!
