Hi All,
Sorry for the delay in pictures! Had a busy day with a client meeting and shopping and now I’m finally back in the office.
Here we go with the reveal:
When you round the front door this is what you see now.
In order to cut costs we kept the sofas. They were pretty neutral so it didn’t interfer with what we were doing. The back cushions got recovered and some navy blue blankets were added to break off the neutral sofas.
The girls wanted a place to drop their keys and check themselves out before they left for work. I vintage sewing machine got a new lease on life with a bright pop of green.
These tables have to be the favorite thing I bought for the space. I really didn’t want to give them up. I found them for $10 a piece at a local thrift shop!
The ginger jar artwork got a new look with a fresh coat of paint on the frames and orange wrapping paper was used as a backing.
Ok maybe the rug is my favorite piece. It was made by yours truly. It took a while to figure out the best way to make it, but once I figured it out it was smooth sailing. I’ll be posting DIY instructions tomorrow.
Can you tell I’m in love with the rug and tulip style tables. I needed to get another shot of them.
One of the happy clients. Plus check out my chic gallery wall. You can see where the JA look alike piece went. Plus those lamps were another thrift store find that actually started out plum colored.
My dad was sweet enough to gift my sister with some roses and they went right into my vintage bamboo vase! Another thrift store find. The lamp was there so it just got some ribbon trim.
The dining nook went from red to peacock blue and lime! That lighting fixture took about 4 of us to figure out, but they love it. I wanted to style the table, but it was still a bit WET so that will have to wait till later. Also wanted to add a quote to the chalkboard, but forgot chalk. I’m all about keeping it real so I still wanted to share the space. :)
The girls apt is two levels so we were able to get a pretty shot going down the stairs.
The super cute client once again in her new happy place.
I hope the wait was worth it and you all enjoy it. It is one of my favorite re-vamps and I was sorry to leave it Sunday evening.
For a little over $400 ($405 to be exact) I gave these girls a completely different look that they can enjoy together while living it up in the city.
It turned out great! Love the colors. Very Kate Spade. Lucky girls!
