Look for less: Lacquered boxes

Swoon worthy version from Plantation Design:

plantation lacquered boxes

The set of 3 is $ 265

How about this paper version instead:

nesting boxes

The set of 5 is $37.50 and they come in 4 different colors!

Then just use a little wipe-on poly gloss for $10 and we have our high-end look!

Already thinking of all the things I can use to fill up those boxes!

  1. I remember Jenny did this in her office (with the red credenza)! There are also boxes at Container Store that are similar that I like a lot that could be lacquered.

  4. Hi Bryn,

Jenny took plain wood boxes and painted them and then did the trim. With this look you only have to add some poly to get a little shine or leave them as is!

    Both great options, but different.

  9. OK... instead of thinking what I could put in those boxes, I can't stop thinking about what I can put that wipe on poly on.
