A while back Erika showed off one of her latest flea market finds.
She was lucky enough to find a huge book full of matchbooks and decided to do this with it:
Close up of matchbooks:
I was wandering all over Boston Public Library flickrs page from this mornings post and found this!
A whole section dedicated to matchbooks:
There are over 400 of them! If you have the time for a whole bunch of printing and patience to line them you up you can recreate Erika's look for less.
Oh, this is lovely! I am inspired... but lack matchbooks. Although I have a ton of boarding passes. :)
ReplyDeleteWow - what a great idea!! I love it! And that wall color is fab too!
ReplyDeleteHmm... I have a collection of about 180 postcards. Maybe I could do something similar with them? I've been trying to figure out for years how to display them.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, this this idea
ReplyDeleteTara should frame those postcards -maybe 2 to 3 per frame!
ps: I have a giveaway going on!
This looks great - can't wait to see what you do!
ReplyDeleteI bet Erika will be thrilled you remembered something like this from 2 years ago!
