Mini Get-away

rhode island

Lately I’ve been a bit stressed….

What’s stressing me?

Well happy you should ask: Finishing up my professional site, finishing up the blog revamp, finishing up the house, finding a photographer to shoot house, client work, blogging, etc, etc, etc.

Plus a bit of sadness has sneaked back into my heart.(To be totally honest the sadness never really left.) You see in a couple of days it would have been my due date had all gone right in Oct and it’s bit hard to deal with.

So, I’m very happy that tomorrow morning I’ll be heading out with my sister’s and Mom for a girls weekend in R.I.!

Hopefully I’ll come back refreshed and the tingling in my face (totally due to stress) will disappear!

  25. I'm glad you had a good de-stressing weekend with your gals. I had an m/c in August last year, and it's such a difficult thing to deal with. But I came to realize that baby was simply not meant to be. Keep your chin up - it will happen and when it does, it will be amazing! (says the lady who is still at work on her due date and freaking out about labor and becoming a parent!)

  26. I'm from RI and got married in Newport so it's one of my favorite places. Did you go to the Inn at Castle Hill? Great views and wonderful food. And you should checkout Wickford or Watch Hill next time you visit. They're both charming.
