Having a Madeline Weinrib rug is a dream of mine. Ah one day I will have one to call my own.
Until then I just get to admire them from a far:
I even went so far as making my own version:
While researching rugs this week for a client I found another alternative:
It’s available here:
3’10” x 5’ 4” : $85
5’4” x 7’8” : $ 165
7’8” x 10’9” : $319.00

ReplyDeleteHey! Great find!
ReplyDeleteWest Elm has one too. Theirs is a bit more, but they have larger options. I'm still in awe of you making your own!
ReplyDeleteLove your version of the rug! i was pumped when I saw this deal as well but I've heard pretty awful things about nylon rugs. A tip I learned for those obsessed with the Madeline Weinrig rug is that you can order them in cotton instead of wool and it will save you a ton - you can do this with quite a few of her rugs- I may go with this option at some point!
ReplyDeleteooh i never would've thought to use a chevron rug, now i want one!
ReplyDeleteI just bought the fabric in bright pink/white to recover some chairs! Thanks for the inspiration! Love your rug! Just gorgeous!
