Judging a book by it's cover

I know it's frowned upon to judge a book by it's cover, but when all you want is the cover than I think it's fair game to judge away!

One of my favorite parts of Kate Spade's store display is their eye candy filled gallery walls.

London Pop up shop:

White Plains:

NYC:

Aoyama:

You'll always find a book or two in a shadow book in their gallery wall.

They also have a fun download of a montage of book covers that you can print out and us a book cover for one your daily reads.

My favorite of the download above was being able to read the book covers so I could search for books I wanted on ebay.

Another great source to check out beautiful book covers is Abudnitz

It's one of Jane's go to sources for her beautiful collages:

What's your favorite book that you are dying to get your hands on to display?

  3. OOH, that collage is so lovely! I love having books to display, whether it's a bright cover or a pretty binding. I have to say that James Frey's book "A Million Little Pieces" has a great cover--bright turquoise with a hand covered in multicolored sprinkles. I bought the book for the cover before I ever knew what it was about.

  7. I was walking by Kate Spade last night around 9pm on the corner of 20th and Fifth in the Flatiron. I was all sweaty from my Zumba class that had just ended but I didn't care. I was glaring in the windows and enamored with the new displays. I reached for my iPhone to take some pics so I could blog about it today and, of course, the phone was dead. Thus is my life! Imagine my surprise when I saw your post today! Too funny. (Oh, and I love the London pop up!)
