Sneak Peeks: East Village Apt

For the last weeks I had been working non-stop finishing up a bunch of little projects for an install that I had this Sunday.

Install day is always one of my favorite days. Yes, it’s exhausting and stressful, but it’s also the day when everything comes together. The entire time I’m working on a room I have the end vision of it in my head, but on install day that picture is out of my head and in place for all to see.

Here are a couple of sneak peeks that I snapped throughout the day.

Please note: There are still a couple of things missing and I didn’t stage it for a photo shoot.

Peek into the living room. Don’t you love that barrel chair! My clients have great taste. It was already in their home.

Close up of the fabric that brings the whole room together. There is only a little pop of it in the room, but it really makes the space.  It has blue/cream/red/citron plus I love the diagonal striped piping I picked!

*We got sent the wrong fabric for the imperial trellis so stay tuned for a citrine version.

Red lacquered chairs with AGA fabric in our little dining nook. Swoon!

Gallery wall in the living room that we filled with a DIY project, etsy finds,  and handmade wrapping paper from Nepal.

The bedroom got some artwork, lamps, custom window treatment, new bedding, and a touch of Chiang Mai Dragon. I still want to add two more toss pillows so I need to get the ok from clients!

Massive gallery wall filled with memories on one of the landings/hallways.

Of course the remaining landing needed a little bit of love as well so we went for a WOW factor!

* Can’t believe a left the tape measure in the shot! Ah can you tell it was a long day. :)

It was quite the productive day and it was nice to go back home knowing my clients had smiles on their faces.

Camila! It looks amazing! I love your fabric choices. I am in love with the roman shade in the bedroom. Do you have a good source for that? I need a couple for my own home.

Such a stylish home! I love the imperial trellis pillows in natural/coffee--they look great with the paisley. If you change them out for the citron, are you selling the natural/coffee ones? Also, would you mind sharing the source for the paisley pillow? I've been searching for the perfect paisley fabric. Thanks!

So many elements to love-the rug, the fabrics, the art. Is that wallpaper on the landing hanging in the frames?
