L-O-V-E

On Saturday I had the honor of attending my husband's cousin's wedding. Of course what everyone wants to know is what the bride wore. I myself was shocked. I was expecting a ball-gown princess type dress.

I loved the mermaid style of the dress. It was very similar in that way to yours truly wedding dress. The lace overlay was beautiful as was the details in the sweetheart neckline and bottom of the dress. There was breathtaking pleating.

Here is a pic of the bride and groom:

Now, what you've all been waiting for. Here is a pic of me in my wedding day outfit:

It was a bit chilly, which is why I was wearing my black coat. Maybe I should have picked something else, because one of my husband's male cousins told me I looked mean due to my big shoulders. He later took it back and told me he meant fierce, but the damage was done.

The reception was held at the Old Field Club. Here was the view from the cocktail hour.

I got a little creative with the flowers that were in my napkin ring.

My hubby wasn't too thrilled.

Group shot of all the female cousins including the new bride!

Of course my hubby wanted to get in on the action as well. My lucky man got to have a pic of just the two of them:

Yes, she really is that beautiful and she's sweet and smart as well. I hate standing next to her in pictures. She's like Barbie and I feel like Barbie's side kick that is shorter and brunette :)

Here are some pics of the hotel where they all the guests stayed. The wedding was only about 45 minutes away, but we all decided to spent the night. We stayed at Danfords Hotel and Marina . The hotel had recently been renovated and the place looked amazing. I feel in love with the feel of the place. It had nautical touches, but in a tasteful manner. The hotel was rich in chocolate brown and white accents, along with Sailing pics and accessories throughout the hotel.

It was a beautiful event and I'm sure the new Mr. and Mrs will be living happily ever after.
