Favorite things: For the DIY-er!

Ok so this isn’t exactly a holiday gift idea, but it is one of my favorite things. I find that as the holidays roll around people are trying to make their home the best that they can be.

Case in point me and Mom just started a massive project yesterday to make the house prettier that needs to be finished by this weekend when my Aunt is coming to stay and spend the holidays! Talk about a time crunch!

I’m a complete marketers dreams and I’m not going to lie what struck the most when I saw this product was the pretty label.

I loved the retro vibe of it and I was pretty sold right away.

Mythic Paint:

Not only does it look pretty, but it’s 0% toxic which means it contains ZERO voc’s! It has ultra low odor plus amazing durability and coverage.

They have 1,232 colors in both interior and exteriors and a variety of sheens. They can also color match any competitors colors.

Mythic Paint by CaitlinD.

Here is what is up for grabs!

- 1 color deck. Color decks are one of my favorite things. I have numerous ones in my office from all the different paint vendors. It’s a well worth small splurge at your local paint shop.

- 2 gallons of paint! One gallon of paint covers 400 sq ft.

Now since the winner will be painting I couldn’t leave you without a crucial element in my painting jobs….Frog Tape!

The winner will also receive 2 rolls of Frog Tape!

Plus 2 Frog Tapes t-shirts!

In order to enter here is what you have to do!

I too, LOVE the label. Packaging can make all the difference in catching your eye. I would love to win the paint so I could redo my kitchen...I got caught in the "one red wall" craze, and have yet to paint over the redness. The color deck somehow seems so satisfying. I didn't even know such a thing existed, but I do believe I need one now! Great giveaway!

I have been waiting to try this paint but I didn't know anyone who has actually used it. Whether or not I win I am going to buy a couple gallons for the master bedroom redo. I just finished building the window casings and next on the list is painting and recessed wall panel wainscoting. I am headed in the direction of peacock blues, chartreuse (or olive green) with either yellow or orange. Sounds like a mess but it all has to do with moderation!

Please Please pick me. When we moved into our house...everything was painted beige...ugh! My hubby said no buying paint until he gets his garage fixed and football season is over. He didn't say I couldn't win it! My first make over is for our guest bathroom. It is a fleshy pink on the walls and the pretty clawfoot tub. The guy that redid the house didn't even paint behind the vanity, more like around it. :( Help me to update this bathroom gone wrong!

Is it a cop out to say I don't even hope for stylish anymore when it comes to my own appearance? I go for classic stuff...trendy doesn't work for me very well. I'm the queen of the little black dress, the a-line skirt, the simple black boot, and the cashmere sweater.

I'm much more adventurous (and I hope stylish) with my home. :)

Oh, I so badly want this one Camila! The four-year-old's bedroom has been in need of a makeover for the last year. We started on the project when he got his big boy bed and then ran out of steam. (that happens quickly when your trying to keep up with three boys)

I've been eyeing this paint at a local store and it would be perfect for a kid's room, me thinks! I'm keeping all my digits crossed for this one!!!!!!!!!!

Yeay, Yeay, Yeay!! *This is the top of the line made paint in the world!* I say that from what I have read and know of it. But...I have never painted walls. I am so excited to win this paint, yippeeee!! Ok-here's the dee-lee-yo..to truly keep this paint zero VOC, you MUST have it tinted at a store that has zero VOC tints, unless of course you get it straight from Mythic (and why do people want to call it 'Mystic' by accident? Funny, I have done it, too.) And guess what??! HGTVs David Bromstead ("Color Splash" fame) has his own color line with this paint!! Didja guys know that??! Awesome, huh? This paint is so safe you can eat it. I would love to do a feature wall in the living room or bedroom. Can't wait. Came over from TLC. Cheers and thank you,

I am ready to transform the nursery . . . my youngest of 3 is moving to a bed this week. I am so sad and excited, all at the same time. I used to paint murals and faux finishes for a living and can't seem to decide which direction to go, but sure it will be spectacular. ;)
