For the longest time now I’ve been saving images to my inspiration files that have been designed by Sarah Richardson. I just love her design style and have to say she is one of my new all time favorite designers.
Not only is Sarah an amazing interior designer, but she is also a TV personality that hails from Canada. Currently she has a show on HGTV called Sarah’s House On the Farm.
Due to a hectic schedule I have yet to watch it. I know bad blogger, but I have been able to see of the eye candy on the web.
Why don’t we take a peek and catch up together.
MASTER BEDROOM: I spy my favorite Hot House flower fabric on the toss pillows, a more traditional quilt on the bedspread and an oriental rug on the ground. Normally one would think that nothing would go, but it all works!
MASTER BATHROOM: I don’t get to design a lot of country rooms, but it is a style that I enjoy. I love the rustic vanities, plaid curtains and chinoiserie style chair. Again a great mix of things that normally wouldn’t sound like they go.
BOYS BEDROOM: Love the wood paneled ceiling! Enough said.
GIRLS BEDROOM: Love, love the shape of the headboard and that teeny peek of polka dot just makes the room for me.
DINING ROOM: I spy a peek of orange floral wallpaper plus a statement lighting fixture!
KITCHEN: More polka dots! Again they totally make the room for me.
LIVING ROOM:Stunning. Check out that massive crest above the fireplace. So cool? Does your family name have a crest that goes along with it?
I’m already hooked! I see that the show is aired on Saturdays. You know now what I’ll be doing this weekend!
Do you have a favorite room designed by Sarah?
