Tommy can you hear me?
When I was younger and the Rosie O'Donnell Daytime show was on she use to do a little segment in which mostly everyday she would try to lure Tom Cruise on her show by singing, Tommy can you hear me?. Eventually it worked and Mr. Cruise made an appearance.
Well I don't want Tom Cruise to show up at my doorstep, but I would love a visit from Thomas Paul. I'm sure he is really busy so if he can't make it over then I would totally just settle for a lovely rug or some amazing fabric sent my way.
I've always loved Thomas Paul's bright and graphic images that he places on fabric, rugs, totes and even stationary!
Truthfully I hadn't thought much about him in the last couple of weeks until this week when I logged on to check on my favorite blogs, PVE DESIGN and she was discussing a chair dilemma she was having. In showing pictures of the room the chair resided in she took a picture of a new lamp she had purchased and voila instant love again for Thomas Paul when I spotted the amazing shade!
I'm in love with everything about that pattern!
Then I receive my monthly House Beautiful and bam I'm hit with some more Thomas Paul fabric in a new ad for Duralee!
I knew at this point it was time to write up a little post about Thomas Paul and how cheerful his patterns makes me feel especially during this rainy and dreary day we are having in NY.
So I log on to blogger and of course before I can actually post I must go through my blog roll and do a quick read and again I'm hit with some more Thomas Paul fabric by Sarah at Serendipity!
It must be kismet so I have my fingers crossed that Mr. Paul will be sending me some amazing fabrics for this lovely write up! A girl can dream right?
I think I'm a due to a trip to my local Calico Corners so I can visit with the Thomas Paul fabrics that are now sold there at very reasonable prices. Right now there is a sale going on and most of his fabrics are ranging from $18-$23 a yard.
