Chic Neutral Basics for a dining room

While searching for tufted chairs last week for a client I stumbled upon some great finds that I had to share.

I know Lands End has been all over the blog world with their new Canvas line, but what some may not know is that they have a furniture line!

Check out these great basics that can work in a variety of ways.

Dining Table for $469

Stylish tufted dining side chair: $99

The heads of the table can have Wing Chairs for $230 each.

Instead of all side chairs I would put a bench ($170) on one side to break it up!

They even have a sideboard ($650) to go along with it.

I think these pieces are great for people that are afraid of bringing random pieces together. While all the pieces are part of a set it doesn’t look like it due to the variety in the seats and the fabric/wood combo.

You can easily just add a couple of pieces to an existing set up or snatch up the whole thing and accessorize the room to mix it up.

Natural wood furniture will always be in style. It’s a classic. Mixing up the pieces from above and you can get a similar look to this dining room from LONNY.

Or you could take the pieces above and go a bit more traditional like the dining room below from My home ideas.

Or take the pieces from above and give your dining room a Cottage chic look inspired by Kate from Centsational Girl.

The possibilities are endless.

Wowza! Kind of loving the well priced classic pieces! Who knew? Might have to snag that dining table to go w/ my slipped DR chairs. Thanks!

I will share a comment, when I saw this collection online it was beautiful, and I thought the price was out of this world. I have a dining room table that I need new chairs for, so I thought this was a great solution. When I got the dining chairs home and assembled...it was very disapointing. It may work for someone else, but unfortunately they are way less fantastic in person. So sad...the pitfalls of buying things off the internet.

Good to know Camilla, thanks so much for including my space, and oh my word, that dining room from Lonny is one of my favorite's. So much so, it inspired me to paint my boy's room an intense deep blue and I think I'll hang some crisp white sailcloth or canvas panels.

This is a great option for someone starting out. It is wonderful how you showed how to break up a matched set with the use of the bench. Love that idea!! Happy Wednesday,Kathysue

Fantastic! Thank you for posting this! I'm in the hunt for chairs and a bench for our dining room table and these might fit the bill perfectly :)I wonder if they carry that fantastic Navy sofa that all the Sear's stores have in the lands end display. I covet that thing...

Loving the dining room option from Lonny - the blus against the wood tones and the neutral seats is great!!! Our dining room set is pretty much a version of this!!!

What great pieces -- and prices! Love the arm chair in particular. You could put it in a living room too.

I really like this set you posted. I am really thinking about getting it, but I have a 2 year old. Would you get white upholstered chairs if you had a kid? Do you know if they have slipcovers?
