Weekend Recap: Client work
This weekend was filled with client appointments.
Not only did a get to see the custom piece in it's new home, but I got to play around with my clients new baby! Such fun. Jon got to hang a couple of mirrors while a got to snuggle with a little 3 month old.
Next stop was at another clients apt who is also a favorite (full disclousure all of my clients are favorites of mine. Decorating is such a personal thing that it's only natural to get along with and enjoy your clients company. :) ) to finalize some design choices.
I think we are going with this fabric in the living room!:
After that meeting we stopped at Artichoke Pizza a very well know pizza place in Manhattan that many say has the best pizza in all of the city.
Yummy artichoke and spinach slice:
It really was delicious. It is on the small side so there is always a line and there is no seating, but totally worth it.
Last client project was more a sister project than official client project. After pizza we then headed down to Wall St and found a parking spot right outside my sister's apt. A total victory!
Her living room originally looked like this:
Then we added some white window panels, rug and seating area and dining nook:
Then we got to work on Saturday and now we have this:
Dining Nook:
(Don't ya love all the wires. Sorry about that, but we simply ran out of steam to make them nice and neat. )
A touch of orange and animal print!
Plus you know I had to give them a little bit of luck and add some elephants:
The space is teeny tiny so it's a bit difficult to get a perfect shot of the gallery wall and sorry for no natural light in these shots, but the time we finished it was late at night. We still need to add a couple little things, but it's practically there.
Afterwards we decided to take a little us time and walked over to the Seaport and enjoyed the view:
What were you up to this weekend?
Saturday morning we loaded up the car with a furniture drop off, items for an install and bags of fabric samples to go over with a client.
First stop was dropping off this lovely x-bench at one of my favorite clients home:

The bench is beautiful! I just saw this one at Target and it's really nice in person. I think it would be easy to recover too...
