Just one of them days….

Ever have one of those days when you just want to get back into bed and start all over again?

This is exactly how I have been feeling all morning.

Woke up a bit late. Started blogging right away. Logged on to my laptop started downloading pictures of latest projects so that I could edit them and feature my reveal today.

Finish editing all pictures and I’m clicking on Windows Live Writer and bam! Black screen!!!!!! Laptop totally dies. I keep trying to reboot, remove battery, pray…Nothing is helping.

I occasionally walk by it and bang on it, but that doesn’t seem to be working. I think I need some professional tech support. Totally freaking out about all my images disappearing!

Go to work on desktop to try and still post reveal. This desktop is from my college years. It’s slow as a snail and due to many viruses basically only works for internet. So I can’t download pictures on to it.

I called Jon crying and cursing HP for their crappy laptop!!!!! I’m now begging and pleading for a new MAC that will love me unconditionally and not shut down on me.

The only thing keeping me going is that I get to attend this tonight:

Of course now I’m stressed over what I’m going to wear, because it’s already 11 am and I’m still in my PJs with no idea about my outfit choice for tonight.  It must be the perfect thing to let Michelle know she must be my BFF!

So dear lovely readers all of this rambling is to let you know that at the moment I can’t post pictures of the reveal. I’m trying to get my hands on dear old mom’s laptop so that I can post them.

Stay tuned…

How exciting. Sounds like a great event. Sorry for the computer problems. One thing that gets me so ticked is when the computer crashes.

I feel your pain! I had a computer catastrophe last year about a month after I got back from studying abroad. All of my Europe pictures...gone forever!

What I learned:
1. Always back up your computer!
2. Memories are more important that pictures.

Good luck with the computer issues!

We've all had those days. I personally will never buy HP anything again! The invite is adorable and just remember, after a glass or two of the bubbly, you'll feel much better! I just know your outfit will be stunning for tonight!

At least you get to have a few cocktails tonight! Watch some of your favorite programs or read a magazine - it helps me when I'm in a funk!

How frustrating! I've had similar crashes before and it always leaves me in tears (and blaming my husband -- and it's never his fault).

Enjoy the party; I'm so jealous you're getting to meet Michelle!

Oh no! I totally had one of those days last week and I wish you the best of luck! Computers are evil sometimes and I say that even though I can't live without htem. It's a double edged sword!

Have a blast tonight! Tomorrow will be better :)

You deserve a Mac! I had an HP and within two months of owning it the hard drive completely crashed. I had to send it to HP and they had to rebuit it which took over a month plus. So I switched to Mac and have had zero problems.
Can't wait for the post. Hope you have a great evening at your Soiree.

In the meantime you HAVE to check out my lamps; I think they'd get your seal of approval.

Oh I hate that for you! I have a Mac and it's great but it is still not crash proof. Unfortunately no computers are. I still do CAD from a flickering laptop that made it through college. Ahhh lifestyles of the rich and famous. :)
Hope you get it worked out! xoRH

'Black screen' issue is how I got my new laptop. Fortunately, my computer doctor was about to save everything.

At least you had a fun party to think about. I hope it's great.
