Orange Kismet

A couple of weeks ago I met a new client that LOVES orange as much as I do!

I immediately started formulating my game plan for her space and the first fabric that came to mind was this:

hothouseflowersjess

Last week while I was gathering some items for the space I found my dream rug for the space:

Then last night I was ordering fabrics on F. Schumacher for another client and clicked on their new to me, blog where I found this:

My dream fabric and rug together and happy!

The room was actually part of the CAA's designer show house. It was designed by the Musso Design Group and their inspiration was the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.

This picture inspired their fabric choice:

Here they are in the room:

Ah I’m in love!

I love the orange. The whole room just makes me happy. I wish I knew how to add those colors to my decor. They seem to give you an energy boost! And did I say they just make me happy!!!

My husband would die if he saw this room. He's always asking if we can have an orange and blue bedroom (in the colors of his school alma mater, go figure). But after seeing this room, I might be convinced! Great find!

I LOVE this fabric. Am trying to justify the price though. I've never bought fabric outside of Joann's. I know, don't shake your head that way.
