Road trip?

Someone please tell me they have been to what looks like an amazing spot.

The Trading Post located in Poughkeepsie, NY looks like a decorators dream.

Check out some of their stock:

I'm so ready to start gassing up the car to pick these beauties:

More images of their stock can be found here.

Hmm wonder if I can convince Jon to go with me on a little road trip?

Camila - Go for the trip! That adorable bamboo chair could use an EFFORTLESS STYLE makeover! I could just see it painted with a fabulous new seat cushion!

I'm in the Albany area, so I'd be heading down the Hudson River to Poughkeepsie to get to this great place. Maybe some day..

Thanks for the comment on my blog. The nearest Anthro is either in Toronto or New Jersey. So I guess I'll need to go on a road trip trip too. (Although there really should be one in Montreal!)

I followed the link and I'm amazed at how much stuff there is and what great prices they have!
You should definitely go! I agree with Loretta. I'd love the see the chair painted and reupholstered. It'd look amazing.

Hi - it’s Bob + Sue Smith from the Trading Post in Poughkeepsie! We just had two customers in our store about an hour ago and BOTH of them said that they heard about us through your blog! We had never heard of it so we checked it out and we were so pleased to read all those wonderful comments - THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I was wondering why we suddenly had so much interest in that bamboo chair! The gal who grabbed it had a grin on her face from ear to ear as she walked out with it. I guess we should have priced it higher – LOL! We have so many things coming and going all the time if you like we can put you on our weekly email list… You can always check this link to view photos of our current inventory: The site is constantly updated so keep checking back or shoot us an email to join the weekly email alert: If you can’t find the time to come and visit us (we understand that!) we do also offer shipping on some items and we can take a credit card over the phone. =0) Thanks again for making our day ~ we really appreciate all the compliments ~ it makes all our hard work and long days worthwhile!
