It's the little things
I've been a bit stressed this week with a very long and never ending to-do list that is constantly running in my head, but this morning I decided to take a view moments to do some virtual shopping and check out some High-Heels! What can I say shopping relaxes me.
How lovely are these new Manolo Blahnik shoes named, Catalina!
Ok yes orange isn't really a practical color, but it would add some fun to outfits in the coming Spring season and would look great against some pink and purple hues.
Don't worry if orange is not your cup of tea they also come in black patent.
My favorite part of the shoe?
The inner lining of course! Look at that zig-zag pattern.Normally designers tend to forgot about the liner and it's just a label, but I love the thought put into this normally little detail. I die. Plus since I can't afford a Madeline Weinrib rug perhaps I can use these shoes to get my fix.

omg, i'm in love- orange is my favorite color and those are the most beautiful pieces of art ever! I need them now...too bad the BF would have a fit if he knew I spent that much on shoes :(
Anyway, its nice to dream. I hope your to-do list is getting shorter. Take one thing at a time, take deep breaths, and take breaks like this mini shopping spree every so often. Also, I find it helpful to just get outside sometimes and breath in the cold air, it gives me a burst of energy. Just remember, everything will pay off in the end :)
so fun!!! i regret I don't wear heels as much as I used to... I want to because you better in heels, but I rarely do anymore. I might have to change that!
Have any recommendations for really comfy ones? (I'm more into wedges than heels because of comfort)
xoxo

I love when there are patterns in areas where you don't normally see them like on the soles of those fabulous orange shoes. I have a Pravina bag that has a really cool fabric on the lining and I love it!

Lauren,
I love heels, but only really to look at them. I must admit that I live mostly in flats! I've recently started wearing heels to work, because I'm sitting alot of day and my feet can handle it.
I'll let you know when I find a comfy heel.
My go-to heel is always a kitten heel, because I get a little height, but no pain.
Lauren and Camila, try the Cole Haan Nike Air line. best.heels.ever! I swear they are like wearing sneakers with heels. I could walk around the city all day in them and not be in pain at the end of the day. Keep an eye out for Nordstroms sales, they have the best prices, plus free shipping from the store if they dont have your size online...can you tell I've done that a few, ok many many times :)
I love that you referenced Blahnik and Weinrib in the same post.
Hi there! I happened across your blog and love, love, love this post.
The orange is so sunny! It's bright here, but so cold that those shoes are making me think of pool-side cocktails, cabana boys, and the summer of fun to come.
Thanks for the assitance in daydreaming.
west elm has a much cheaper cute chevron rug available right now that will satiate your zig zag needs!!
